We enjoyed a beautiful (and wet!) California Christmas.
Back at home we were welcomed by 18 inches of snow,
and tonight's low is ONE degree.
Yikes.
For my husband and his family, it just isn't Christmas until you bundle up, light a tree with candles and sing Christmas hymns. It's a tradition their parents (my in-laws) brought over from Switzerland when they came to the states years ago. I am so glad that I now get to be a part of it. It's usually freezing, and some of us sing off-key,
but it is a beautiful sight By the Light of the Tree.
I hope your Christmas was beautiful.
