A little discovery hatched in our very own backyard!A few observations:
::I have never actually seen robin eggs, only heard about them. Aren't they beautiful?
::That mama was so faithful sitting on her nest! We checked on her everyday-- the whole process amazes me.
::I swear these babies hatched yesterday or this morning. Eyes still closed, and zero feathers, only a smidgen of downy fuzz.
::I love how they open their beaks like that.
::Mama bird was not happy with me taking pictures of her babies, I think I should maybe ask her next time.

Oh how sweet are is that? I am amazed at how true robin's egg blue is to everything I've heard. So beautiful and that sweet little open beak.
